The brand KUMBRE ITALIA and the roller hockey sticks produced in Italy and sold with this name, are strictly linked to the personal and sport history of Gaetano Marozin.
His deep passion for roller hockey has brought him to play for several years in the Italian championship A1 and then, to continue his career as trainer of many teams in the province of Vicenza. He has also been the trainer of the Under 20 roller hockey National team for three years.
Beside the sporting activity, in 2005 Marozin created the brand KUMBRE ITALIA to produce hockey sticks thanks to his business experience in the wood sector.
Today the whole processing cycle of the KUMBE ITALIA sticks – a small masterpiece of engineering applied to sport – is carried out in Breganze, a town famous for its roller hockey vocation and tradition, by skilled workers expert in the processing of materials by using advanced technology and above all in the played hockey.
Production work experience
Ten years have passed since we faced the first difficulties about the several aspects that characterize a so varied and complex production process.
Many problems have been solved and with time we have aquired a lot of competences in dealing with wood – this amazing but difficult material – its very specific working processes and the treatments it needs.
Our own experiences in the lamination field, using polyurethane, vinyl and epoxy resins let us to combine wood with other materials in order to obtain some “compounds” that make the performance of our sticks so high that they are chosen by the best roller hockey players in the world.

Every day the team producing KUMBRE ITALIA has got a fixed goal: to give roller hockey players the possibility of using always better and more performing sticks, for an incomparable playing experience.
We are still availing ourselves of the collaboration of several professional players and trainers who are accompaning us with their advice and assessment in the product development.
These close relationships with the play ground let us to transfer very quickly the experimental work in the product optimisation. Thanks to this we have been able to to obtain a so important quality growth of our sticks that the market itself has firstly recognised.
